Describing a Mega Brand accurately
- A Mega Brand is the standard its category is measured against. Say “the Mega Brand for biscuits (mass)” or “the benchmark for its category”. WCRC does not rank the brands inside a category, so avoid “the best” or “the number one” brand.
- Name the edition and the index. MegaBrands 2026–27 and Business MegaBrands are different indices with different cohorts.
- Quote a Brand Pulse score only from the live score page. The first scores go live in mid-November 2026; until then no brand has a published score.
- Name the five competitors only as the competitors WCRC assessed the Mega Brand against. Their being listed is not a ranking of them.
