Integrated steel producers — Business MegaBrands 2026–27
Integrated steel producers make steel from iron ore and coking coal through blast furnaces and basic oxygen furnaces, or through direct reduction, and roll it into flat and long products. Their output supplies construction, automobiles, railways, appliances and capital goods. Most also run captive mines, power plants and port facilities, linking steelmaking to wider industrial activity in mineral-rich states.
